Tall and Small was founded in May 2020 by screenwriter Jannik Tai Mosholt and producer Christian Potalivo. Jannik and Christian are both graduates from The National Film School of Denmark and have individually and together been behind several successful feature films and tv-series.
Jannik has written on acclaimed shows such as BORGEN, RITA and FOLLOW THE MONEY, and his feature films include animated international festival darlings BEYOND BEYOND and THE GREAT BEAR, as well as prominent feature films such as THE WAR GAME, HOLD ME TIGHT and YOU & ME FOREVER.
Christian has produced some of the most popular family feature films in Denmark the last two decades. He has also produced three seasons of TV2’s tv-series DICTE and recent features such as LONG STORY SHORT and HEAVY LOAD. In 2009 Christians short film THE PIG was nominated for an Oscar, and in 2010 the nomination was repeated with the short film THE NEW TENANTS, which took home the prestigious award. In addition, Christian was appointed ’Producer on the move’ at the Cannes Film Festival 2009.
Together with their third co-creator, Jannik and Christian created the first Scandinavian Netflix Original – THE RAIN in 2017. Third season of THE RAIN premiered in August 2020.
In January 2022 Tall and Small's coming-of-age sci-fi series CHOSEN aired on Netflix.
Tall and Small began a partnership with Nimbus Film in January 2023. Nimbus Film is behind several award-winning feature films and tv-series such as THE CELEBRATION, FLAME & CITRON, THE BRIDGE and latest the audience-success BAMSE.
In November 2024 Tall and Small's children's animation series FLORA & LARS premiered as a part of DR's FredagsTamTam.
Tall and Small's first feature film, UNDER THE STARS, premiered on March 20th, 2025.
At the moment, Tall and Small has a long line of projects in development and is co-producing a number of projects.
Christian Potalivo graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in 2007. He has worked at M&M Productions and Miso Film before founding Tall and Small with Jannik in 2020.
Christian has produced a great number of feature films and tv-series, including the DICTE-series, the IQBAL-trilogy, LONG STORY SHORT and HEAVY LOAD. In 2009 Christians short film THE PIG was nominated for an Oscar and the year after his short film THE NEW TENANTS won the prestigious award. Christian is producer and co-creator of the first Scandinavian Netflix Original series THE RAIN.
Furthermore, Christian has been appointed as `Producer on the move´ at Cannes Film Festival in 2009. Christian Potalivo is a voting member of The European Film Academy and Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Asta Stuhr graduated as a producer from the Super16 Film School in 2022. Previously Asta has attended the youth film school Station Next and the European Film College.
Asta joined Tall and Small in May 2020 as junior producer, and before this Asta has worked as a producer assistant at Fridthjof Film and with Jannik and Christian on 3 seasons of the Netflix Original series THE RAIN at Miso Film.
Asta has produced several short films over the last 10 years including RAINBOW GIRLS, which was shortlisted at the Danish Film Academy in 2017 and FUCKING KILLAS ON SPEED DIAL, both films were nominated at Odense International Film Festival in 2017. Her Super16 short film THE LAST SACRAMENT was nominated for a Danish Film Award (Robert) for “Best short fiction” in 2023.

Sofie Zelina has been working as a producer's assistant at Tall and Small since August 2023. She holds a bachelor's degree in Film and Media Studies from the University of Copenhagen and has previously worked at the film festivals BUSTER and CPH:DOX before joining Tall and Small.
Sofie Zelina has produced several short films. Additionally, she runs the theatre company Stamina and served as the head of production for the play LYSTEN TIL AT SMADRE NOGET, which premiered in August 2023 and received acclaim for its performance.

Asta Stuhr graduated as a producer from the film school Super16 in 2022. Asta has been with Tall and Small since the company was founded in May 2020, and before this she worked at Fridthjof Film and with Jannik and Christian on three seasons of the Netflix Original series THE RAIN at Miso Film.
Asta has produced several short films over the past 13 years, including THE LAST SACRAMENT, which was nominated for the Danish Film Award (Robert) for “Best Short Fiction” in 2023. Asta’s graduation film from Super16, HEARTBREAK, was selected for competition at the Odense Film Festival in 2023 and also won the Best Direction award and the Manifest Prize at the Poitiers Film Festival in 2023.
Asta was associate producer on Tall and Small’s Netflix series CHOSEN from 2022, producer of the children's animated series FLORA & LARS, which aired from November 2024 as part of DR’s FredagsTamTam, as well as the feature film UNDER THE STARS, which premiered on March 20, 2025. Currently, Asta is working on several projects in development at Tall and Small.
